Goodness...

This week has really been something incredible...

I got to go to Ichthus last weekend as an Altar Minister. I got to stand in prayer tents and talk to teenagers about Jesus, and I even got to lead a sweet girl named Carson to Christ! At 13, she now knows Jesus and is going to make a huge mark on the Kingdom of God...no question about it.

Pete gave the closing sermon Saturday night, and it was unbelievable. After a weekend of talks and bands who added confusion and mudded the main focus, Pete brought a true and clear message that over 4,000 people responded to! I still can hardly believe it, and I hope I never forget the picture of the hill as Pete said '3!' and thousands rose to their feet to ask Jesus in their hearts. It was like a wave rolled over the Ichthus campgrounds and the enemy was pushed out of the sea to the far ends of the Earth. INCREDIBLE.

Sunday night, Grams (a friend's grandma) had a heart attack and went into the hospital. The next day, she passed away. Grams was pretty much everyone's grandma. She was a sweet little Mexican woman who loved to dance! I loved her very much, and though I am sad I did not get to say goodbye, I know I will see her again one day, dancing with Jesus! God is such a crafty God, too...as Grams passed, her daughter & family drove across the country to be here for her memorial service, the same week that Callie was to be baptized. Last night, the whole family came to watch Callie, and by the end of the night, her cousin Cassie gave her life to Christ! Grams, you were used all the way to the end...

Now I sit in my office for one more hour, then I'm off to pack and get ready for Destin! The cruise fell through, but we are still going to the beach, gosh darnit! I cannot wait! 5 days on the beach, hanging out with wonderful girls! Thank you Jesus for this vacation!
